Everything about Siegu, your privacy, and how it works.
Yes. Your photos and metadata stay on your device. Siegu uses on-device AI, so nothing is uploaded for processing.
Absolutely. Your library is stored locally, so you can browse and search your photos anywhere — even without a connection.
You can share a collection over a live, end-to-end-encrypted link. Guests only see what you choose to share, and nothing is stored on our side.
Yes. Free users can point their app at a self-hosted relay on a machine they own (port-forwarding one UDP port). Pro's hosted relay does the same with zero setup — it works even on cellular networks that block direct connections.
To connect over the internet, two devices have to find each other. Most home networks work out of the box, but some networks (especially mobile data) sit behind NATs a direct connection can't reach. A relay — TURN — forwards the encrypted stream between your devices when that happens. It never stores or reads your media.
Siegu runs on Windows, macOS and Linux, with a full web experience for guests.
Yes — Siegu imports your existing library, then processes it all locally and privately.
